After watching the movie, I am confused, whether it is a life in a metro, or its a sex life in a metro..? The movie has grey shade and depressing mood. The movie limit its arena to sex and race for quick rise in corporate world, but stretches too much in these area to create substantial doubts in any kind of relationship.
The good news is, Whatever is shown in the movie, comes with perfection. I count this movie as best among the recent multistarrer, parallel storyline celluloid materials. Different parallel stories are beautifully woven with a web of relationship.
Murder and Gangster fame, Anurag Basu , is a highly talented director, and he doesn’t let you down with Metro as well. All the characters are meticulously defined and give meaning to their characters. The script is well written, and keeps you engaged till the climax.
Shilpa shetty looked so pretty and gorgeous, that you will simply love her.
Kay kay has done a great job. He plays his character differently with different characters and did all of them perfectly. He looked good as frustrated husband, boss and a sex maniac lover.
Both Irrfan and Konkona sen are great performers. They provide some of the funniest scenes. They do their role with such a ease as they are not acting, but rather their own life stories.
From Style to Metro, Sharman is going strong. He has proved his skills in comic and serious roles. He just goes into the character, and did his work with full dedicaton. You have a long way to go Sharman.
Although, this is the fourth movie of Kangana, she has proved that she is going to stay in the industry. She looks so natural and perfect, that no another lady could fit better in the role.
Dharmendra and Nafisa are great actors, and sadly they are wasted in this multistarrer flick. Dharmendra is a legendary actor, and he should be offered meaningful roles.
As expected from Pritam, the songs are good. They added flavour to the movie. Especially, it looks really good to see James's band coming in songs. The songs depicts the emotions and mood.
The story is very old, but the script and screenplay is tight gripped and binds you to your seats till the movie ends.
What to watch out for:
-> Finest performance by one and all.
-> Excellent screenplay and directions.
-> Good songs, which goes with the movie.
->
What not to watch out for:
-> Too dark and depressing.
-> Lot of sex & no emotions.
-> Dharmendra is wasted in a mean role.
If you are looking for 3 hours laughter dose, this flick is not for you. But, yes, if you want to see a movie with classic performances and greyer shade of life, just go for this one.

I think that You are going great with the analysis. I agree to most of what you said, especially to the fact that the movie is sure to invoke a lot of doubt in any relationship. I personally don't think which is good - don't we already have a hell lot of problems in our contemporary relationships??? But on the contrary, the truth cannot be denied. Only that Anurag has picked all the grey shades of life and put it together, which makes the movie look a darker shade of grey than the reality.
I think if you are taking this blog seriously Rahul, then you should pay extra attention to you grammar, sentence construction and formatting. I know a software professional (a married one at that!!) has very little time!!! But it would make your blogs look a lot better. With your contents you can get a lot of hits!!
Cheers
