Synopsis
The movie revolves around the story a hockey coach for a girl's team and a young Sikh girl who wants to join the hockey team but does not get the approval of her. Sharukh Khan is the coach of India’s Women Hockey team who aspire to be world champions. He puts them through rigorous training sessions to get the best out of them.Vidya Malvade’s character is of a Sikh girl who has a love for the game but is not allowed to play by her parents. Shraukh Khan’s character has a past in which he was somehow thrown out of his team. He is all set to regain his lost pride by making the women Hockey Team win in the World Cup in Australia.The film is based on the real life of the former Indian hockey goalkeeper Mir Ranjan Negi.

Rahul bhai, Your story is not 100% correct. Sikh girl concept is not correct.
Anyways, this is one of the best films I have seen this year. Surely a film that will stand tall in hindi cinema story. sharukh is the king of bollywood. no doubt abt it. At times in the film, he delivers dialogues at such length and emotion that very few actors in this country can do it. Hats off Sharukh. Of all the Hockey team players, I liked, the chautala, sabarwal and esp. chautala, the haryana short girl. Rest are also good. Great performances. Not to forget, a great cinematography, direction and music.
