SynopsisImtiaz Ali's Next, is a forthcoming Bollywood film directed by Imtiaz Ali who earlier directed Socha Na Tha starring Ayesha Takia and Abhay Deol. The film stars Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor in their fifth film together and will be produced by Dhillin Mehta under Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision Ltd. The film's score and soundtrack will be composed by Pritam with lyrics by Irshad Kamil and is scheduled for a release in October 2007.
The movie apparently will tell a love story between a loud Punjabi girl Kareena Kapoor and a Mumbai guy Shahid Kapoor. The story begins with a chance meeting between two strangers and develops into a kind of romantic adventure set in Patiala, Punjab.
Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd and Director Imtiaz Ali have come up with a fun contest to decide the title of their Untitled film starring Shahid and Kareena Kapoor in the lead!!
The audiences will be given three choices to choose from!! 'Actually the idea came from Shahid. All of us had different ideas about the title... we finally narrowed it down to three titles but couldn't decide which one. So we thought we would ask our audiences!! The title with the highest votes will win.' says Director Imtiaz Ali. The film is produced by Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd (Of Golmaal and BhagamBhag fame)
