Although a qualified mechanical engineer, he chose to weld celluloid dreams. Starting his career with TV, he worked on serials like shikast and Sea Hawks. Turning his attention ot music videos, he became so successful that he was called music video legend and music video moghul in the industry. His debut film as director was Tum Bin. Inspite of featuring 4 new comers, the film was well received while the music went on to become one of the highest selling albums of the year. Aapko ko pehle bhi kahin dekha hai, Tathastu and DUS followed. Multistarrer Dus was once again a winner.
